West TPS team and have a fantastic new opening for a Treasury
Consultant based in our Newport office. This role presents an
incredible opportunity to collaborate with some of our largest
government entities in Southern California and the southwest
partnering states. Government banking experience preferred and
travel required (30%).Responsibilities:
- Achieves sales and other targets established by business
plans.
- Continuously assesses and improves work processes for sales and
service management, risk management, and compliance within
prescribed limits.
- Optimizes opportunities through deal teams and sales calls,
maximizing business success.
- Influences the strategic direction of the line of business
assisting with the development, prioritization, and implementation
of business, technology, sales and service, channel optimization,
and enhanced customer experience.
- Leads and executes business development plans to ensure
business goals are achieved or exceeded.
- Delivers reliable activities in instituting cross-selling
initiatives to clients across all areas of the firm.
- Provides deal structuring expertise and additional expertise as
needed.
- Identifies issues, gaps, and process improvements through open
communication.
- Collaborates to generate ideas, identify client solutions, and
deliver timely solutions.
- Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted
advisor.
- Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new
initiatives.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and
policies.
- Develops the business case by identifying needs, analyzing
potential options, and assessing expected return on
investment.
- Recommends business priorities and advises on resource
requirements.
- Advises on sales strategy based on a deep understanding of the
market and client needs.
- Coordinates the management of databases and ensures alignment
with data governance standards.
- Leads change management programs of varying scope and
type.
- Manages the risk of the assigned complex portfolio in a timely
and precise manner.
- Maintains accurate documentation and ensures adherence to
prescribed policies.
- Acts as the daily sales contact for the client for
sales-related questions.
- Provides assistance to the team in pre-sales, such as pitch
preparation and client research.
- Tracks implementation requests to keep the process on track
with timelines.
- Tracks internal reports and recommends improvements to sales
support materials.
- Compiles pre-call and post-call information packages.
- Provides research and data gathering to sales team to
facilitate solutions.
- Assists with sales and service administration and
processing.
- Maintains current client information on Bank system/files.
- Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a
specialist resource.
- Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address complex
situations.
- Implements changes in response to shifting trends.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as
needed.Qualifications:
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary
degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of
education and experience.
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education,
experience, and industry knowledge.

$110,000.00 - $204,100.00Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO
